Abstract
The photophysical properties of O-1(2) dimol ((1)Delta(g))(2) --> ((3) Sigma(g)(-))(2) transition have been studied by Nile Blue A (NBA) dela yed fluorescence induced by energy transfer from the O-1(2) dimol. As a result, a radiative lifetime of (1.2 +/- 0.3) x 10(3) s(-1) was dedu ced in CDCl3 through a plot of the intensity ratio between NEA delayed fluorescence and '0, dimol as a function of NEA concentration.
