Abstract
In this paper, the authors advance the theory of center offset and the corresponding mathematical model with the path of the central point a nd control line. They also demonstrate that the theory of center offse t can clearly increase the accurate gear length of the cutter by means of examples. (C) 1998 Published by Elsevier Science S.A.
