Abstract
This paper introduces the mathematical basis of ideal spheroid manufac turing, and gives a mathematical model of the greatest profile error c aused by the relative position deviation between the grinding tool and the spheroid to be ground. Examples of practical engineering computat ion are given. This paper can be used as reference by those who engage in the grinding of spheroids. (C) 1998 Published by Elsevier Science S.A.
