Abstract
Using a two-potential localized exchange approach we present results f or the partial depolarization due to exchange in the inelastic collisi on of the intermediate energy polarized incident electrons with unpola rized sodium target atoms. Further, in the situation when the target f ine structure is resolved we study the left-right scattering asymmetry S(A)(1/2) for the superelastic scattering. Comparison of our results is made with the other available experimental and theoretical results.
