Abstract
A new decomposition of sinusoidal 3-phase currents is proposed. The ma in feature is that it leads to the compensation of nonactive currents partly by elements without energy storage and partly by means of linea r elements with energy storage (inductors and capacitors). The propose d decomposition is compared with existing procedures, such as those de veloped by Akagi-Nabae and by Czarnecki.
