Abstract
2-tert-butyl-3-phenyloxaziridine was heated with alkyl isothiocyanates to afford ert-butyl-3-phenyl-1,2,4-oxadiazolidine-5-thiones. The reac tion mechanism of the ring formation was discussed. This reaction was applicable to synthesis of glucosylaminoheterocycles.
