In this work experimental values for the refractive index n(D), speed
of sound u, and isentropic compressibility k(S) of binary mixtures of
n-hexane with (l-butanol, 1-hexanol, and l-octanol) at T = 298.15 K an
d atmospheric pressure are presented. From the experimental values, th
e corresponding excess and deviation values were computed (changes of
refractive index, changes of speed of sound, and changes of isentropic
compressibilities) using variable-degree polynomials to fit the data.
