Seven previously described species of Anagrus are recorded from China.
Nine new species (Anagrus brevis sp. nov., Anagrus albiclava sp, nov.
, Anagrus semiglabrus sp, nov., Anagrus setosus sp. nov., Anagrus flav
iapex sp, nov., Anagrus paranagrosimilis sp. nov.,Anagrus minutus sp.
nov., Anagrus striatus sp. nov., Anagrus sp. 1) are described from fem
ales only. All the species, were found only in the Oriental part of Ch
ina except A. semiglabrus that occur only in the Palearctic region and
Anagrus atomus L, and A. striatus that occurs in both. The male of A.
minutus also is described. A key based on females to all the Chinese
species is given. A summary of the biology of Chinese Anagrus is prese
nted.
