Abstract
The effect of two protein-modifying reagents and one specific inhibito r on the deoxyribonucleases produced by Myxococcus coralloides D is de scribed. The enzymes were completely inhibited by aurintricarboxylic a cid, not affected by N-ethylmaleimide and they lost between 10 and 30% of their activity in the presence of cyanamide.
