Abstract
Tracer diffusion on an energetically heterogeneous surface is studied by Monte Carlo simulation. The surface is simulated in the framework o f a self-consistent description where site-saddle-point energy correla tions are involved in a general way. The influence of heterogeneity, t emperature and correlations on the temporal behaviour and dynamic of m igration is analysed.
