Abstract
Synthesis and physicochemical properties of new 2-N-(phthalimido)-1-al kyl esters are described. Esters were synthesized from aromatic and he terocyclic acids with appropriate bromoalkyl phthalimides in the prese nce of 1,8-diazabicyclo[5,4,0] undec-7-ene or triethylamine. The obtai ned compounds were evaluated for anticonvulsant activity. The display protection against MES and ScMet-induced seizures.
