Abstract
Experimental results are presented demonstrating that hydrogen diffusi on is enhanced under illumination and that the enhancement is suppress ed when the photo-generated carriers are extracted from the diffusion region by an electric field. The results suggest a close connection be tween hydrogen diffusion and metastability in a-Si:H.
