Abstract
The structure of tetrapotassium tetrakis(2-methyl-2-sila-2-propanolate ), (KOSiMe3)4, is reported. The cubane-like tetramer lies on a positio n of crystallographic symmetry 23; the Me3SiO unit and the K atom lie on a crystallographic threefold axis.
