Abstract
The complex, bis(1,5-dimethylimidazole-4-methanol-N3)gold(I) chloride, is a salt in which the ligand molecules are bound through N(3) atoms of the imidazole rings to the Au atom, which has an approximate invers ion centre. Bond lengths and angles are normal.
