Abstract
3-Methoxy-N-(4-hydroxybenzylidene)aniline exhibits a non-planar confor mation with a dihedral angle C7-N-C8-C13 of 45.9-degrees between the p lanes of the two phenyl rings. The methoxy group is twisted from the p henyl ring by 3.0-degrees.
