Abstract
Treatment of oximes and semicarbazones of saturated and (alpha,beta-un saturated ketones and aldehydes with trimethylchlorosilane-dimethyl su lphoxide in dry acetonitrile affords the corresponding carbonyl compou nds in excellent yields under mild conditions.
