Abstract
Separated and attached microscopic air bubbles excited by a sequence o f expansion and compression (shock) waves are considered. It was found out that the expanded bubbles break up into clusters of air nuclei, u nder certain conditions, due to the shock wave-induced collapses. (C) 1995 American Institute of Physics.
