Abstract
The thermodynamic theory of hydrogen-bonded networks is extended to fl uids with interacting bonds. It is shown that the results are consiste nt with those obtained in the framework of association models. The the rmodynamic theory, however, can be applied to systems with more compli cated networks of H bonds, where association theory fails.
