Abstract
We have measured the resistivity and Hall coefficient of Nd2-xCexCuO4- delta (NCCO) thin firms sequentially damaged by ion irradiation. The T -c of the NCCO decreases linearly with residual resistivity and extrap olates to zero at R-square/(unit cell)approximate to 5 - 10 k Omega, r esults similar to Y-Ba-Cu-O. We suggest that the physical basis for th is behavior in NCCO may be disorder effects in a homogeneous two-dimen sional superconductor. Unusual behavior of the Hall coefficient gives further evidence that NCCO may be a two-carrier conductor.
