The problem of finding the potential function in a weakly conductive a
nisotropic medium for an assigned distribution of the potential on the
boundary and sinusoidal variation with time is solved. It is shown th
at for each phase of the supply voltage the distribution of the potent
ial is the same as it would be for a static field in an insulating cry
stal with a nonuniform anisotropy that varies with the phase according
