Za. Samoilenko et al., CHARACTERISTICS OF THE CLUSTERED STRUCTURE OF PB(LI, LA)(ZR1-YTIY)O-3IN THE ANTIFERROELECTRIC-FERROELECTRIC TRANSITION REGION, Technical physics, 43(2), 1998, pp. 171-175
Mesoscopic inhomogeneities and their influence on the behavior of the
physical properties (optical reflectivity, dielectric constant, and Cu
rie temperature) of a system of lead zirconate-titanate Pb-0.85(Li1/2L
a1/2)(0.15)(Zr1-yTiy)O-3 solid solutions are investigated. It is estab
lished that the disruptions of long-range order have a mesoscopic scal
e and generate ion groups in the form of interlayers of elements of bi
nary-oxide planes coherently embedded in the crystal structure of the
host phase. It is shown that the clustering of the structure is manife
sted in nonlinearity of the physical properties of the lead zirconate-
titanate solid solutions, where the most pronounced variations are cha
racteristic of the coexistence region of the antiferroelectric and fer
roelectric phases. (C) 1998 American Institute of Physics. [S1063-7842
