Experimental values of the mean angular moments of Rb-91, Nb-97, In-12
0, Sb-131,Sb-133, Te-132,Te-134, I-133,I-135, and Xe-135 isotopes prod
uced in Th-232 fission induced by 14-MeV neutrons and 13.6-MeV deutero
ns have been obtained by measuring relevant isomeric ratios. The contr
ibutions of the beta decays of isobaric nuclei to the yields of the is
otopes being investigated have been taken into account in determining
the required isomeric ratios experimentally. A model is developed for
describing the mean angular momenta of fission fragments.
