Abstract
The faunal analysis of the Upper Fezouata Shales Formation (Arenig, ce ntral Anti-Atlas, Morocco) shows five distinct associations, one of gr aptolites and four of trilobites, and an environment is proposed for e ach one. The results obtained from the sedimentary facies confirm this interpretation and allow the environment of the trilobite biofacies a nd transport phenomena on a storm-dominated marine platform to be defi ned.
