Abstract
To define more accurately the taxonomic position of the species of Cte nocephalides Stiles & Collins, 1930 (Siphonaptera), a morphological st udy of the aedeagus vias conducted, on all taxa of this genus. Based o n some phallosome structures (hamulus, lobes, tubus interior), an iden tification key is constructed to complement the existing taxonomic cri teria. C. orientis and C. damarensis are confirmed to specific rank.
