Abstract
Oxidation of hydrogen sulfide by oxygen at 16-30 degrees C in presence of fibrous strong-base FIBAN A-1 anionite with fixed Fe-EDTA complexe s has been studied. It was found that H2S conversion rises with decrea se of temperature, increase in anionite humidity and complex content. A catalyst samle prepared on the basis of Cl-form of anionite displays higher activity. Elevated oxygen content ill the initial gas mixture results in considerable increase of catalyst efficiency.
