Abstract
The structure of hippospongic acid A was reinvestigated and new eviden ce supporting the revised structure previously proposed was obtained. The structure, including absolute configuration, was established by th e enantioselective synthesis. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd. All right s reserved.
