Abstract
A study of the surface of copper-doped diamondlike carbon films by the methods of scanning tunneling microscopy and spectroscopy is reported . It is found that the introduction of copper modifes both the microst ructure and the electronic properties of the films. (C) 1998 American Institute of Physics. [S1063-7850(98)02210-1].
