Abstract
Solubilities of RbBPh4 in water, methanol, ethanol, 1 - propanol, 1 - butanol, 1 pentanol, 1 - hexanol, 1 - hepanol and 1 - octanol at 288. 15 similar to 328. 15K have been determined by spectrophotometry. The standard transfer thermodynamic function of RbBPh4 from water to strai ght- chain alkanols at 288. 15 similar to 328. 15K has been calculated . The results can be experssed as a<INF>tr</INF>G<INF>w-->s</INF><SUP> degrees</SUP>= -20.3504 + 6.6005x10<SUP>-5</SUP>T<SUP>2</SUP>+ 14.6628 1gn/1-7.7713x10<SUP>-9</SUP>T<SUP>3 a<INF>tr</INF>S<INF>w-->s</INF><S UP>degrees</SUP>= -0.1329T - 3.4185x10<SUP>-4</SUP>T<SUP>2</SUP> 1gn/( 1 - 7.7713x10<SUP>-9</SUP>T<SUP>3</SUP>)<SUP>2 </SUP>Furthermore, the contribution of microscopic interaction to the standard Gibbs energy o f transfer of RbBPh4 was calculated and discussed.
