Abstract
Polypyrrole (PPy) as the material filled in micropores of titanium dio xide (TiO2) was prepared by the electrochemical method. We report morp hologies of PPy films with different thicknesses on the microporous fi lms of TiO2 and the influence of the thickness of PPy films on the cha racteristics of TiO2/PPy diodes. Evidence indicates that a suitable th ickness for PPy films is of great importance in enhancing the rectifyi ng ratio (RR) of TiO2/PPy diode. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. All ri ghts reserved.
