BASISDOKUMENTATION-FACHPSYCHOTHERAPIE - WHO ASSURES THE QUALITY OF QUALITY ASSURANCE - QUESTIONS REGARDING PSY-BADO IN THE PERSPECTIVE OF ANALYTIC THERAPISTS IN PRIVATE PRAXIS

Psychotherapists have the alternative, to design quality assurance wit hin certain boundaries by themselves, or otherwise leave this importan t task to external instances. Those will apply their own criteria in d eveloping a concept. This paper discusses the question, how far qualit y assurance in the field of analytic psychotherapy has to-accept the d efinitions and concepts from other fields such as industry or somatic medicine, without changing or deteriorating the quality that in the en d should be improved. Differentiation is necessary between the use of the Psy-BaDo for individual quality assurance of the individual psycho therapist and for quality- and psychotherapy-research. This paper poin ts out new approaches to modifying the present concept of quality assu rance for the purposes of analytic psychotherapy.
