Abstract
Results from sixty laboratories participating in GeoPT2, the internati onal proficiency testing programme for analytical geochemistry laborat ories, are reported. Compared with 71.3% in the last round, 74.6% of t he reported data complied with the laboratories' selected fitness for purpose criteria.
