Abstract
A 44-year-old woman with severe variant angina refractory to maximal m edical therapy and at risk of sudden death was successfully treated by a NIR stent im plantation on a moderate lesion of LAD. Six months lat er she was asymptomatic, without in-stent restenosis. This procedure r epresents an alternative treatment for patients with refractory vasosp astic angina.
