Abstract
We discuss a critical point theorem based on the linking of two sets. We consider the situation in which neither set is contained in a finit e-dimensional manifold. In order to do so, we require the derivative o f the functional to have weak-to-weak continuity. An application is gi ven. (C) 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
