Abstract
A solid-state amperometric sensor based on solid polymer electrolyte ( SPE) for monitoring ozone in gaseous media is reported. The compact se nsor is convenient for practical applications. The sensitivity of the sensor is around 1 mu A/ppm cm(2) with a 95% response time of a few se conds, depending on the structural details of the sensor. The lower de tection limit is estimated to be 0.2 ppm (S/N = 3).
