INNOVATIVE CEMENTS QUICK-SETTING CEMENT, SPRAY CEMENT, ULTRAFINE CEMENT, AND CEMENTS WITH HIGH-RESISTANCE TO SULFATES OR ACIDS

In recent years the cement producers have developed a large number of new binders which either extend the area of application of cement as a whole or have other technical or ecological advantages. These include microfine cements, high performance Portland quick-setting cements (a lso-used for structural applications), high-alumina cement with an alm ost ten times higher resistance to biogenic sulphuric acid corrosion, and environmentally friendly spray cements for rapid-hardening sprayed concrete, e. g. for tunnel construction. The majority of these cement s have already been, comprehensively tested under practical conditions .
