Abstract
Survival of several Chlamydomonas reinhardtii repair-deficient strains and mutability following X-ray exposure was compared in order to supp lement general characteristics of these mutants. Our observations sugg est that the recombination repair mechanism plays an important role in removing of DNA lesions caused by X-ray irradiation.
