Abstract
We report on observations made of the high mass X-ray pulsator X 1538- 522 using the Ginga X-ray astronomy satellite. A pulse arrival time an alysis, when combined with previous results, enables us to derive a re fined orbital solution, an improved upper limit on changes in the orbi tal period and a new value for the pulse period.
