Abstract
The dissociative recombination rate coefficient for CO+ has been measu red at 300 K using a flowing afterglow Langmuir probe-mass spectromete r apparatus. A value of (1.85 +/- 0.5) x 10(-7) cm(3) s(-1) has been f ound.
