0) react with the phosphine, P(m-C6H4SO3Na)(3), to afford water solubl
e clusters which are catalyst precursors in the water gas shift reacti
on. Electrospray mass spectrometry provides an excellent means of char
acterising the clusters in solution from their negative ion spectra. (
