Abstract
The paper describes a method for designing IIR allpass circuits for pu lse expanding, the phase of which approximate to a squared phase in th e Chebyshev sense in the given frequency region. The method is based o n the solution of a linear equation system which provides a final solu tion with a very small number of iterative cycles.
