D. Mao et al., TRIPLET EXCITONS IN CHALCOGENIDE GLASSES AS ELUCIDATED BY OPTICALLY DETECTED MAGNETIC-RESONANCE, Physical review. B, Condensed matter, 48(7), 1993, pp. 4428-4432
The photoluminescence in glassy AS2S3, AS2Se3, and Cu. (As0.4Se0.6)100
-x has been studied by optically detected magnetic resonance (ODMR) at
3 and 16 GHz. Experimental data reveal problems with existing triplet
exciton models and suggest possible modifications. The addition of Cu
into the glass has an insignificant effect on the ODMR signals. This
behavior, although surprising, is consistent with a high degree of loc
alization of triplet excitons at As atoms.
