Abstract
Aryl phosphate derivatives of 3'-deoxythymidine (3dT), albeit more act ive than 3dT in thymidine kinase (TK)-deficient cells, are not potent antihuman immunodeficiency virus (HIV) agents and are capable of inhib iting HIV replication only at micromolar concentrations.
