Abstract
Reasonably good agreement with pressure-induced changes of hole concen tration in Tl2Ba2CuO6+delta compounds can be obtained on the basis of a pressure-induced charge transfer model. The calculated pressure deri vative of maximum T-c of 0.87 K/GPa within the van Hove singularity sc enario and the predicted variation of T-c with pressure in bilayer Tl2 Ba2CaCu2O8 are in excellent agreement with experiments.
