Am. Vein et al., THE STATE OF MECHANISMS OF AUTONOMIC REGULATION IN ARTERIAL-HYPOTENSION, Zurnal nevropatologii i psihiatrii im. S.S. Korsakova, 98(4), 1998, pp. 20-24
To investigate the role of suprasegmental and segmental parts of auton
omic nervous system (ANS) in genesis of arterial hypotension (AH) 75 i
ndividuals with arterial hypotension as well as 30 healthy persons wer
e examined using clinical and psychological methods, evaluation of the
state of ANS segmental part by means of evoked skin sympathetic poten
tials, spectral analysis of the variability of the heart rhythm, 5 sta
ndard cardiovascular tests according to Ewing, The conclusion was made
that individuals with AH had combination of alterations of both emoti
onal-personality sphere and autonomic functions in all systems of orga
nism tested. Exactly they had psychoautonomic syndrome presenting as c
ombination of asthenic manifestations, elements of Reynaud phenomenon
and headaches pronounced differently (headaches of tension more freque
ntly). Clinical alterations were combined with changes of indices of f
unctional testing, that reflected disorders in some link of sympatheti
c regulation including baroreflex one. Decompensation in individuals w
ith AH and change for the worse of the indices of functional testing w
ere due both to the increase of psychoautonomic disorders, growing of
desintegrational processes in ANS and the decrease of adaptive mechani
sms in its sympathetic part.
