Abstract
Primitive neuroectodermal tumours (PNET) in the cerebral hemispheres p redominantly occur in early life. The mean survival from the time of d iagnosis is approximately 8 months. Only 18 cases in patients older th an 15 years have been described. There have been no cases of PNET in a patient older than 65 years. We describe a case of PNET in a 69-year- old man without recurrence 30 months postoperatively following radioth erapy and carboplatin chemotherapy.
