Abstract
A low-complexity anisotropic diffusion technique for smoothing texture s preserving object contours is presented. Additional features such as disparity or motion can be used to control the evolution of the inten sity diffusion. Drastic simplifications in the iterative diffusion pro cess are also introduced to reduce the algorithmic complexity.
