The ground-state energy of the antiferromagnetic Heisenberg model on t
he kagome lattice (S = 1) is calculated with use of the perturbational
expansion around the ''trimer state''. The present result is compared
with that of the spin-wave calculation. The first excited energy is a
lso evaluated. Some solvable models are introduced.
