Abstract
Five known flavonoids were isolated from Conoclidium greggii (Composit ae), including 5,7,4'-trihydroxy-6,3',5'-trimethoxyflavone [1], which showed inconsistencies in its spectral and physical data with those re ported for this compound. The structure of 1 was unambiguously determi ned by a single crystal X-my diffraction study. The five compounds iso lated are new to this species.
