Abstract
A patient with malignant pleural mesothelioma was investigated using Tl-201 scintigraphy. There was diffuse pleural tumour accumulation on planar scin tigraphy. Single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) demonstrated e xact tumour location. It is concluded that planar scintigraphy using Tl-201 may be useful in detecting mesothelioma, Clearer tumour localization is po ssible with SPECT.
