Abstract
Our article entitled "Deductive reasoning and experimental inhibition train ing: The case of the matching bias" by Houde and Moutier (CPC, 1996, 15 (4) , pp. 409-434) was criticized by Girotto (CPC, 1997, 16 (5), pp. 649-662). In the present reply to Girotto, we point out his errors and introduce some new research perspectives for studying the inhibitory control of informati on in deductive reasoning.
